Xanxus

It is time, I agree. I hear you ask, to do what? To improve on my doll presentation. Previously, I have been creating them and shooting them (literally point and shoot) with glittering backgrounds that I had purchased, in hope to beautify the picture. Yes, I know they are not doing exactly what I needed them to do and being lazy probably make things worse. :P

I think it’s time for me to step up the photography and venture further than my comfort zone. The following took me a little longer than usual because I really like this piece of work. I went around shopping for tools or fitting backgrounds etcetera, so give me credit for at least trying, will you? :)

Xanxus is the current leader of the Varia, Vongola IX’s adopted son, and the main antagonist of the Varia Arc. His hair is spiky and he has a buzz cut on the sides. It is also adorned with feathers and an animal tail (most speculate this to be a raccoon) at the nape of his neck, coming over his left shoulder to rest in the front. He also wears a Varia uniform jacket on his shoulders, much like a cape. He matches it with a white dress shirt, black pants, and a loosely knotted tie, along with black boots. – Wikia

The doll in the background is none other than Squalo. :)

I hope this makes up for the delay in posting. I was really busy and I am working on my brother’s Wacom tablet, trying to design a header for this blog as well. I’ll also be going on a short trip to Penang till Tuesday, but I hope I can start create another doll soon.

Superbi Squalo & Grande Pioggia Squalo

Superbi Squalo (スペルビ スクアーロ, Superubi Sukuāro) is a gifted swordsman extremely loyal to Xanxus and also Dino’s schoolmate from childhood. Squalo was actually the next candidate for Varia leadership, after defeating its leader Tyr. He had cut off his own left hand to better understand Tyr, who did not have a left hand. As such, Squalo has an artificial hand in its place which can flip into very severe angles, as to make up for his blind spots in sword-fighting. He submitted to Xanxus due to his “fury” and ambition, pledging to make Xanxus the next head of the Vongola Family. He battles and loses to Takeshi Yamamoto during the Vongola Tournament, and though he appears to be eaten by a shark, he had apparently been rescued by Dino in order to get Squalo to reveal information on Xanxus. – Wikipedia

I love how Squalo & his shark (his Box Weapon: GPS) turned out. I like his black outfit and his 180 degree sword-like arm. I bloodied the shark’s mouth with Stabilo Fine 88 pen. Combination of different shades of red. In equation to his shark, they both look very cute. :)

Arcobaleno – Fong

The holder of the Red pacifier is I-Pin’s master, Fon (風 Fong).

Fong is a re-creation of Hibari Kyoya, in a way. Even in the anime, they shared uncanny resemblance to each other. The difference between the 2 comes in the form of their outfit. The red was a combination of the poster colors chilli red and pepper red. Fong is Chinese, and therefore, I’ve given him a robe and of course the Arcobaleno’s pacifier.

Lambo

Lambo (ランボ, Ranbo^?) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Reborn! created by Akira Amano. In the series, Lambo is an infant assassin who goes to Japan to kill the hitman Reborn. Upon his failure, he starts to live with Reborn’s pupil, the future boss from the Vongola Mafia family Tsuna Sawada. As the series progresses, Lambo becomes one of Tsuna’s six Vongola guardians, The Guardian of Thunder, and has to confront various enemies from the Vongola despite his young age. When Lambo shoots himself with the Ten-Year Bazooka (10年バズーカ^?) from Bovino family, he transforms into his future self from 10 years later nicknamed “Adult Lambo” (大人ランボ^?).

Lambo dresses in a cow suit complete with a tail, and has a huge afro with horns on the sides of his head which gives him the appearance of a bison. – Wikipedia

I kneaded Lambo with a happy-go-lucky mood because that’s how he is, in the anime too. :) I think your mood goes into the clay that you make. I should have made him smaller but his afro just got bigger! :D

Kyoya Hibari

Kyoya Hibari (雲雀 恭弥, Hibari Kyōya^?) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Reborn! created by Akira Amano. For the most part of the series, Hibari is portrayed as an anti-hero, taking little to no interest in the events that surround the main protagonist, Tsuna Sawada. He is introduced as the leader of the Disciplinary Committee at Tsuna’s school, Namimori Middle. Despite his status, he is a delinquent who uses violence to create his own form of order in school, as well as enforcing it throughout certain parts of the town of Namimori. – Wikipedia

Hibari is my favorite character in ‘Katekyo Hitman Reborn’ anime. I had a fun time kneading him. However, I don’t really like working with black. Sometimes, cracks on clay after drying, are pretty obvious on black. :( I’d like to re-create Hibari in his Namimori school uniform when I have the time. :)

Rokudo Mukuro

Mukuro Rokudo (六道 骸, Rokudō Mukuro^?) is a fictional character in the Reborn! manga and anime series created by Akira Amano. Portrayed as the series’ first primary antagonist, Mukuro Rokudo is introduced as a 15-year-old Mafia criminal who is the leader of the Kokuyo Gang, which consists of heinous criminals who have recently escaped from prison.

Known as someone who has driven both the Mafia and police into dangerous and desperate of situations, Mukuro is a deadly opponent. Though Mukuro’s main weapon is a trident, and is capable of using combative skills, he is first and foremost a master of illusions, thus he is not easily deceived by illusions that are cast by others. His abilities lie in his “Six Paths of Rebirth” (六道輪廻, Rokudō rinne^?), six different skills which he claims has been carved into his memories by having had his body go through all six paths to Hades. When using his skills, a Japanese numeral, corresponding to the realm he has entered, appears in his right eye. The skills granted from the individual paths varies from enhancing his physical and mind-controlling abilities, as well as his power of his illusions, to enabling him to control and summon animals.

Mukuro also possesses the Estraneo Family’s Possession Bullet, a forbidden bullet which enables a person to possess the body of another person when the possessor is shot with it. With this, Mukuro is able to possess and control the body of anyone that he has cut with his trident. He can possess several bodies simultaneously, and he is also still able to enter the Six Realms, granting him the ability to use a different skill for each body. – Wikipedia

RM is one of my favorite clay doll. I love his head, hair, eyes and his weapon. I drew on his grey camouflage innerwear with Stabilo Fine 88 pens. Most of his colors are not pure colors. The tip is to drop in black for that darker shade of color.
